Some Findings • 27% of events - ‘Medical Sciences’ • 50% of conferences accompanied by exhibition • May and September most popular months – 30% of all events • 318 Delegates, 13 Accompanying Persons attended conference (average) • Queensland attracted highest average delegate income per conference

  11. 2 days -Average length of time for conference • 21% conferences use only one hotel, with 34% using 2-4 hotels • Over 2/3 delegates conference registration paid by credit card • 46% delegates register up to one month prior to event
