  2. LISTEN TO ME • Part of improv is listening and responding to the other actors on stage! • Not only what is said, but also HOW it is said.

  3. Level 1 • EMOTION is important. • Think about how a line can be said with different emotions. • Let’s practice… • 4 actor will each say the same line, but each with a different emotion

  4. Level 2 • RESPOND to the other actors APPROPRIATLY (correct emotion). • Dialogue comes from TWO people talking and responding. • Let’s practice… • 2 actors will each have a line. Actor 1 will say their line and Actor 2 will respond with theirs and an appropriate emotion.

  5. Level 3 • Keep the dialogue going through continuous response. • Think of what to say based on what was said to you and use the correct emotion! • Let’s practice… • 2 actors will each have a line. Actor 1 will say their line and Actor 2 will respond with theirs and an appropriate emotion. • THEN KEEP THE DIALOGUE GOING!
