  2. 定 義 • 要比較兩者(兩個或兩群體),指出某 者比另一個更有特色時,就要用到比較級. 會用到連接詞than這個字. 例如: 1. I am taller than you 2. Julie is more beautiful than Ann. (Julie卡水啦) 3. Today is cooler than yesterday.

  5. 看到有than這個字,就是比較級. 比較級的句型 1. 基本結構 A + bev. + 比較級 +than +B.(bev.) Ex: An elephant is bigger than a hippo. 比較級要與同一類型的事物做比較.例如:人與人,事與事或物與物.不可人與物比. Ex: His eyes are bigger than mine (=my eyes). His eyes are bigger than I.(X) His eyes are bigger than my.(X)

  6. 2. 限定用法—限定範圍： 兩個當中比較~~的 A + bev. +the比較級 + of the two. Ex: The rabbit is the fasterof the two. = The rabbit is fasterthan the dog.

  7. 3. 兩個相同的比較法 A + bev. +as+原級（不變化）＋as+ B. Ex: The man is as strong as the other. Douglas is as smart as Ignacio.

  8. 4. 比較級的修飾 • 如要強調兩者的比較程度,可以在比較級前加上much , far , a lot , even表示 「比較…多了」或 a little「比較…一些」. Ex: Jay is much more handsome than A-ban. My sister is a little heavier than I.

  9. 5. 同群體與不同群體之間的比較 (1)同群體 • Taipei is bigger than anyother cities in Taiwan. • Amy is cuter than all theother students in 807. (2)不同群體 • New York is bigger than any cities in Taiwan. • Amy is cuter than all the students in 801.
