  1. Making the Most of Your PSAT Results! Recommended Actions and Activities for College Bound 11th Graders in HCPS

  2. Accessing College Board’s Web Sites • Open a web browser and go to www.collegeboard.com. • Click the “For Students” button. • In the middle of the “For Students” page,” click the link “Learn more about My College QuickStart.”

  3. Getting to My College QuickStart • Click “Sign in to My College QuickStart now”. • You will be prompted to login. Use the same login name and password that you use for SATOnline.

  4. My PSAT Home • Enter your SATOnline user name and password and press ‘Sign In.’ Enter your access code (which can be found on the hard copy of your PSAT results.) Your English 11 teacher or school counselor can help you find this information. You can also enter the site without the code by providing additional personal information.

  5. My College QuickStart > personalized planning kit • At this location, you can fully analyze (and learn from) your PSAT results and learn more about colleges and careers.

  6. My College QuickStart Home • Click the icons to see much more information. • To move to another topic, use the My College QuickStart dropdown menu.

  7. My SAT Study Plan • Be sure to move through both lines of tabs at the top of this page! • You can: look at each section’s missed questions, get specific suggestions for what you can do to improve your SAT performance, take a full-length practice SAT test, and more.

  8. My Online Score Report • You can: view each section and each question of the PSAT, view how you did on each ‘level of difficulty’ question, and view your performance on each section.

  9. My College Matches • You can search for colleges that match your career interests and projected SAT scores. • Click the MyRoad link for much more college and career information!

  10. My Majors & Career Matches • Investigate college majors and careers (based on information you completed on the PSAT form)here. • There is a MyRoad link on this page as well.

  11. MyRoad • If you access MyRoad from within the College QuickStart Guide, click OK in the dialog box. • Click the Main Tabs in MyRoad to further investigate colleges and careers! • Thanks for watching!
