  1. Getting Ready for Registration Steps to Follow

  2. New This Year • This year we will be doing our final registration for classes through CFNC. • You will be called by homeroom to register with the School Counselors • Before registration, there are a few steps that you must complete. • The 1st step is to create a CFNC account. This has already been done at school. If you missed creating your account, please see your School Counselor

  3. First Use your registration guide to learn about classes that will be available. Your registration guide is the red book that you were given.

  4. What is really cool….. • Our registration guide this year is also on-line through the Martin County Schools website: http://martin.sharpschool.net • There is also an interactive registration guide that you can access at https://sites.google.com/a/martin.k12.nc.us/registration-guide/. This guide offers an avatar that explains different aspects on the registration process. • Homeroom teachers can show you this before the end of homeroom today, if they are able.

  5. After you have reviewed the registration guide(s)… Use your “Quick Reference” (pink sheet) to help guide you through choosing your courses step by step. Mark your selections on the white course selection sheets.

  6. Keep your white course selection sheet! You will use this sheet when we do on-line registration.

  7. Help is available! • Try using the “Quick Reference” first. It walks you through step-by-step. • Students and parents can see either counselor if they have any questions • Counselors will be available during the parent/teacher conference times to answer questions. • Refer to your registration guide, on-line guide, and interactive guide. These are terrific resources.
