Welcome to the CRCnetBASE family of products. Let the Research Begin!

The following will walk you through “getting started” with any netBASE product (s). Start at crcnetbase.com

If you have access through an IP address or through your library or campus ranges, you will see a screen similar to the one below:

The name of your institution or corporation appears here.

You will see a list of titles to which you have full-text access. These are online libraries of ebooks or chemical databases. For this tutorial we are concentrating on CivilENGINEERINGnetBASE

From here, you can click on the title of interest. For this tutorial, we will click on CivilENGINEERINGnetBASE (red circle)

OR

At the bottom of your subscription list, you can search all available netBASEs, only certain netBASES, or all of your subscribed titles (blue circle)

Another way to get to content is to use the general search at the top of the CivilENGINEERINGnetBASE pages and click on >, Search “bridges” and press the arrow or enter

You will see that everywhere that the search word appears is highlighted

Clicking on any of the chapter sections allows you to jump to that part of the chapter.

You can choose to display book abstracts in the results, and decide how many results to show per page and if you would like to see these in descending or ascending order

At the bottom, you can limit your search to certain books or all books in CivilENGINEERINGnetBASE
