Objectives:

●  Be able to calculate problems using specific heat without the formula

q = c x m x ΔT

● Energy of Activation keeps most reactions from being spontaneous (thermite).

● Catalysts lower the energy of activation (vid. energy req'd to start reaction).

● Be able to write equilibrium expression for reactions.
