  3. Full Exam In a full dental exam, which is a frequent dental procedure, the patient’s oral health is reviewed to identify any problems or potential problems which may arise in the future. This helps avoid issues such as tooth decay or dental cancer by enabling the dentist to address any worries at the earliest opportunity. Doing so can save your time, money, and the need for more intrusive treatment. Common practices that are involved during a full exam include: ● Dental X-rays ● Oral examination ● Teeth cleaning

  4. Scale, Clean, And Polish During this process, deposits on the teeth are loosened and removed using a few specialised dental tools to stop the spread of plaque and tartar. This is complemented with a therapeutic wash and flush to remove the plaque and food particles hidden in the spaces between your teeth. Following the removal of the plaque, the dentist will use a special tool to polish your teeth to prevent the formation of new plaque.

  5. Deep Cleaning A deep clean is a treatment aimed at cleaning in between the teeth and gums and roots to remove the buildup of plaque on your teeth and reduce gum inflammation. Unlike regular cleans whereby the dentist washes the front, back and sides of the teeth, a deep clean extends to the roots.
