  2. Dues • New members - $20 • Returning member - $15 • ALL DUES MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 4TH, 2012. • Anyone with honest interest in FCCLA sign up dead line is October 22nd.

  3. Drug Forms • Drug forms were due last week! So get them into the office ASAP! • NO Later than Monday Morning, Sept. 10th! • I will be collecting them on Monday 7th hour from our advisors. Make sure you have them turned in.

  4. Please make sure we have your contact information before you leave. If you do not fill out a form tonight please let Ms. Gash know.

  5. Point System • We are doing a point system this year. Every time you participate in an FCCLA event or meeting you will get points. • Your points will go toward more advantages for taking trips and incentives at the end of the year.

  6. Regional Food Drive • Food Race at South Middle School to pull more younger kids into to FCCLA and hope they join when they become Freshmen. • 1st place - Pizza party @ lunch • 2nd place - Ice Cream Party @ lunch • Also we would like our members to bring food in as well. The member with the highest amount of food brought in will get extra points.

  7. Chapter Community Service • Habit for Humanity • Humane Society • Help Homeless or crosslines(clothing drive) - Thanksgiving • Pick up trash on the road/adopt a highway • Shoebox – personal care for Christmas • Give back to a group who helped us after the tornado. • North Middle School walk • Katelyn Drake – Cancer – Penny war • Any other suggestions???

  8. Fund Raiser • Bake Sale • Oreo balls, brownies, Lemon bars, car wash, serve food at a restaurant, bracelets, Casey cards, middle school dance, guess the amount ( each person pays to guess, winner gets lunch. • Ideas??

  9. Group Bonding • Bowling • Hay ride • Bond Fire • Corn maze • Rock-a-thon • Paint balling • Laser tag

  10. Officers • President- Must be in the club for 1 or more years. Must Attend all meetings • Vice President- help president • Secretary- • Historian- • Treasurer- • Recreational-Plans events in the community • 9th Grade Rep ( Boy and Girl) • 10th Grade Rep ( Boy and Girl)

  11. Leadership Conference • September 25th • 9 a.m. – 12:15 in Carthage • As of right now we can only bring 8! • Professional Dress! (NO FLIP FLOPS) • If you come to school this day and have on inappropriate clothing we will be obligated to leave you behind  • More information will be given at a later date, KEEP UPDATED ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER!

  12. Regional Meeting • October 9th @ MSSU • IF you do not pay your dues you will NOT attend any of our chapter meetings! • Bring a Jacket because it is cold! • Again NO flip flop • $3 per person - Everyone can go! • We will discuss proper clothing at the end of this slide show.

  13. Next Chapter Meeting • What day works best for you? • Monday’s or Thursday’s? • Before school, after school, or around 6:30??? • Must decide on this tonight.

  14. Snacks • Bringing snacks can get expensive. • We will have a sign up sheet. If no one signs up we wont have food! (and really unhappy FREE friends) • We will provide the snacks for the first 3 meetings.
