  2. Tiempo – Time • Introducción. A. Efes. 5:16, “aprove-chando bien el tiempo, porque los días son malos”. Cap. 4 y 5 los describen. • Introduction. A. Eph. 5:16, “making the most of your time, because the days are evil.” Chap. 4 and 5 describe them.

  9. Tiempo – Time • III. La vida es un “vapor”, Sant. 4:13, 14, “¿qué es vuestra vida? Porque sois un vapor que aparece por un poco de tiempo y luego se desvanece”. • III. Life is a “vapor.” James 4:13, 14, “For what is your life? It is just a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.”

  10. Tiempo – Time • A. No decir, “Hoy o mañana iremos a tal o cual ciudad y pasaremos allá un año, haremos negocio y tendremos ganancia”. Sant. 4:13. • B. Not say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” James 4:13.

  14. Tiempo – Time • C. “No os afanéis”, es mal uso del tiempo, 1 Cor. 7:32; Col. 3:1, 2. Hace algo, pero la mente distraída, pensando en otra cosa. • C. “Do not be anxious,” because this is an improper use of time, 1 Cor. 7:32; Col. 3:1, 2. Do something, but mind is distracted, on something else.

  17. Tiempo – Time • F. Remordimiento. Fil. 3:13, “olvidando lo que queda atrás”. “Oh, si hubiera” o “si no hubiera”. Perro / Conejo. • F. Regret. Phil. 3:13, “forgetting what lies behind.” “Oh, if only I had …” or “if only I had not …” Dog / rabbit.

  18. Tiempo – Time • G. Esperando. ¿Cuántas horas perdemos en sala de espera? Siempre tenga su Biblia, NT o algún tratado. Casetes de la Biblia en casa, auto, truck – dondequiera con audífonos. • G. Waiting. How many hours do we waste in waiting rooms? Always have Bible, NT or a tract to read. Bible tapes in house, car, camión- can use headphones anywhere.

  19. Tiempo – Time • V. Programar el tiempo: trabajar, comer, dormir … hay tiempo para adorar a Dios, orar, estudiar la Biblia, visitar, enseñar. Si esto no está programado, no se hace. • V. Program your time: work, eat, sleep … there is time to worship God, pray, study the Bible, visit, teach. If this is not programmed, it isn’t done.

  20. Tiempo – Time • A. Tiempo es como capital que invertir. Es el haber principal del hombre. No lo puede prestar, ni amacenar, sólo usarlo • A. Time is like capital to invest. It is the principal asset of man. You can’t loan it, nor hoard it. Can only spend it.

  21. Tiempo – Time • B. No “agonizar” sino “organizar” el tiempo. Cada uno tiene 168 horas cada semana. Poner lo primero primero. • B. Not “agonize” but “organize” time. Each one has 168 hours each week. Put first things first.

  22. Tiempo – Time • C. No servir a Dios “a la carrera”. Hogar; iglesia; predicadores y maestros – “no hay tiempo”, hay que hacer todo “a la carrera”. • C. Not serve God “on the run.” Home; church; preachers and teachers – “there is no time,” have to do everything “on the run.”

Como el eunuco, Cornelio, Lidia, el carcelero, los de Berea. • VI. “Take advantage” of every opportu-nity. Jn. 9:4; 12:35, 36. Look for open doors, 1 Cor. 16:9. Like the eunuch, Cornelius, Lydia, the jailor, those of Berea.

  26. Tiempo – Time • No importa como se mida (sea con reloj o calendario u otro medio) es muy PRECIOSO. ¡EL TIEMPO ES VIDA! ¿Matar el tiempo? • No matter how it’s measured (whether by clock, calendar or other means) it is very PRECIOUS. TIME IS LIFE! Kill time?

  29. Tiempo – Time • Conclusión. A. “Por tanto, tened cuidado cómo andáis”. ¿Lo hacemos? ¿Aprove-chando bien el tiempo? ¿Ha obedecido al evangelio? ¿Pone al Señor primero? • Conclusion. A. “Therefore, be careful how you walk.” Do we do it? Making the most of our time? Have you obeyed the gospel? Do you put the Lord first in your life?

  30. Tiempo – Time • B. El “ladrón” más peligroso del tiempo es el APLAZAR LA DECISIÓN. Casa encendida, CORRE, COMPRA EXTINGUIDOR. ¡Demasiado tarde! • B. The most dangerous “thief” of time is PROCRASTINATION. House on fire, RUN, BUY EXTINGUISHER. Too late!

  31. Tiempo – Time • C. Doctor dice, “tiene seis meses”, CORRE PARA COMPRAR SEGURO DE VIDA. ¡Demasiado tarde! • C. Doctor says, “You have six months,” RUNS TO BUY LIFE INSURANCE. Too late!

  32. Tiempo – Time • D. “Necesita operación ahora” – “Oh, debo tomar vitaminas”. Muy tarde para eso ahora. • D. “You need an operation now” – “Oh, I should take vitamins.” Way too late for that now.

  34. Tiempo – Time • Rom. 13:11, “conociendo el tiempo, que ya es hora de despertaros del sueño”. • Rom. 13:11, “knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep.”

  35. Tiempo – Time • Una de las mentiras más engañadoras de Satanás: “¡Hay mucho tiempo!” “¡Sobra tiempo!” “¡No tenga prisa!” • One of the most deceptive lies of Satan: “There’s a lot of time!” “There’s more than enough time!” “Don’t hurry!”

  36. Tiempo – Time • Cuando uno muera o cuando Cristo venga EL TIEMPO TERMINA. Ya no habrá días, semanas, meses, años. La eternidad no es “tiempo largo”- nada que ver con tiempo. • When one dies o when Christ comes TIME WILL END. Then there will be no days, weeks, months, years. Eternity is not a “long time” – it has nothing to do with time.
