  2. Why? • Shift to one overarching SDE system with single log in • Security • More robust application

  3. Questions and Training • Call or email any SDE transportation staff member. • Daily online office hours via IdahoLive. From 10:30-11:30 a.m. beginning August 9th until not utilized or needed. • Continuing topic-specific webinars. • Training manuals on SDE Web site.

Register • Register at https://apps.sde.idaho.gov/Account/Register.  • Will receive a user verification email; follow email instructions. • Email username to adresslar@sde.idaho.gov to assign you to the IBUS application. • Superintendents or Business Managers already using another new SDE app can skip registration and assign to IBUS on own.

  6. IBUS Log In • https://apps.sde.idaho.gov/ibus • Enter username and password

  7. FY10 Transportation Reporting Priorities 1. Vehicle Maintenance – make sure we have the correct bus data listed. Request any changes needed. 2. Complete Odometer Report 3. Complete Mileage Summary

  8. Vehicle Maintenance • Manage bus fleet data • VIN verification • Follow data from new bus inspection on • Request and monitor bus changes • Contractors: manage all buses as one fleet and easily change/assign “Primary District”

  9. Vehicle Maintenance, Cont. • Request Vehicle Change • Broken odometer • Remove bus from fleet list: sold, traded in • Change bus data • Add bus to fleet list

  10. Odometer Report • Only reporting June 30th odometer readings • Contractors assign miles to districts serviced • All other changes through Vehicle Maintenance as they occur • Broken odometer • Add bus to fleet list • Remove bus from fleet list: sold, traded in • Change bus data

  11. Mileage Summary • Reconciles with Odometer Report miles • Separate from Claim Form • Borrowed or lent miles • May log monthly

  12. Reimbursement Claim Form • View 2008-09 Claim Form Audit • Download latest Funding Cap • 2009-10 Claim Form available later in August

  13. Charter Advance Payment Request • Update as changes occur

  14. Depreciation • Export schedule to Excel • See how depreciation amount was calculated/determined • Report forfeiture penalty on depreciation schedule if bus is sold early

  21. Webinar Access • Idaho Digital Learning Academy at http://idahodigitallearning.org and click on the IdahoLive tab and select Future Webinars. Calendar shows url to each IBUS webinar. • Requires a computer with internet access as well as a headset or speakers. To be able to speak with the presenter, you will also need a microphone.  A headset and microphone is ideal, however one can participate without having a microphone. • Prior to meeting run the setup wizard (http://67.202.210.70/wizard/launcher.cgi?wc=wms) to ensure compatibility between your machine and the meeting room. • Log in as a participant; no password needed.
