  3. Marketplace Overview • RW is the payer of last resort. If a consumer is eligible for the Marketplace they are required to apply • Tax credit review 138% FPL 400% FPL Marketplace (tax credit) Medicaid Marketplace

  4. Marketplace Update • Consumers are not enrolled until their first premium is paid! • Removing and redoing applications • Consumers with eligible immigration paper work

  5. ODH Plan Selection Policy(11/30/13) • If a consumer receives an advanced premium tax credit they need to use all of it up front • RW Part B clients 139-201% FPL need to select a silver plan • RW Part B clients 201- 300% FPL need to select a gold plan

  6. Plan and Provider Analysis • Thank you to the Ohio AIDS Coalition! • Plan Analysis- What HIV related medications that are not on plan formularies • Provider Analysis - Find out which insurance providers are covering RW providers

  7. Medicaid Update • Communication gap between Medicaid and the Insurance Marketplace • Apply through benefits.ohio.gov • 30 day waiting period

  8. PCIP (Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Program) • Coverage has been extended until January 31st • Consumers should enroll in the health Insurance marketplace by the 15th to receive coverage by February 1st.

  9. MetroHealth Care Plus Plan • Plan has been extended until April 31st • Metro will be helping to transition consumers to Medicaid
