4. Project Background/Presentation Objectives • The 2015 Pan Am games are quickly approaching • The international community has shown an interest in using a low profile training facility • George Brown College has a gym that would be a great exclusive facility for teams to train

5. We have been presented with the challenge of creating an integrated marketing campaign • This program will aim to increase exposure for GBC Athletics, as well as to create revenue for students • While generating international exposure, our task was to align a premier sponsor with our campaign

7. V.I.P. CENTRE • We will create an exclusive facility for the athletes to train in and call it The VISA Infinite Performance Centre.

8. The facilities will be exclusively for athletes for the duration of the games, with alternatives for summer students • We will improve the athletic facilities, while creating a buzz within the international and regional athletic communities • The gym will feature ample advertising space for the sponsor and to promote the VIP Centre

12. All Access Athlete Pass • We will provide all athletes with a VIP Infinite Access card, this card will allow athletes access to the GBC facilities as well as to get discounts for local tourist attractions.

These access cards allow athletes to ‘check in’ to the facilities • While checked in fans back home can follow via social media how their athletes are training and have access to exclusive live streaming services • The All Access cards are exclusive to the athletes and will get them discounts and to certain local attractions and all GBC facilities

14. VIP Treatment • The athletes will receive exclusive VIP treatment while training at the VISA Infinite Performance Centre. We will provide everything from complementary towel service to student ambassadors.

GBC is a leading college for international students and we will provide each team with an international student ambassador • Our culinary school can provided tailored catering upon request after work out sessions • A VIP Shuttle bus can be chartered by the athletes to get around the city, including to and from the nearby athlete's village

17. Athlete Package • In order to bring awareness to our performance centre we will send out athlete packages to the teams of the Pan Am Games to entice them to use our facility as a training area.

18. Packages will be mailed to trainers and coaches letting them know about our facilities • They will include a full guide to our facilities including coloured pictures and details about the amenities • Information about the VISA VIP Access card and VIP treatment • They will also include brochures and information about the city and some GBC Swag

19. Community Outreach • We will host ‘Practice with the Athletes’ sessions, an athlete meet and greet and host Para Pan Am activities.

20. Allowing GBC Huskies to practice with world caliber athletes is a huge draw for the GBC Athletics program • VISA infinite meet and greet • It gives GBC a chance to give back to the community by raising awareness and inviting kids to learn and participate in ParaPan Am activities • It will promote the local athletics community and inspire a younger generation of students

21. Alternative Options Considered • A prepaid VISA for the Athletes which would be reloadable for them to use on the GBC campus and around the city • An exclusive press conference with athletes after training in the GBC Facility
