The Writing Process

The writing process consists of five essential steps: Prewriting, Drafting, Revising, Editing, and Publishing. Prewriting involves choosing a topic and organizing details through brainstorming, outlining, and free writing. Drafting is where you put your ideas on paper without focusing on perfection. Revising includes rewriting and rearranging content for clarity, while editing polishes the work by correcting grammar and spelling errors. Finally, publishing is sharing your completed work through writing, typing, or presentations.
