  5. 1) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Character Flows Through Us- 2 Cor 5 14 Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live. NLT

  6. 1) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Character Flows Through Us- 2 Cor 5 15 He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died & was raised for them. NLT

  7. LifeChange is similar to what John the Baptist said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). When we see more of Jesus’ life and less of our own ambition & desires, we see Godly LifeChange.

  8. Turning away from what used to be… I Peter 1 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

  9. Turning away from what used to be… I Peter 1 15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

  10. …and embracing what can be Rom 12 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good & acceptable & perfect will of God.

  11. … is what I am designed for. 2 Cor 3 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, & where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. NIV

  12. … is what I am designed for. 2 Cor 3 18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. NIV

  13. 1) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Character Flows Through Us- 2 Cor 5 Am I seeing genuine LifeChange in my life? Do I truly desire to see LifeChange or am I afraid of what I will become?

  14. 2) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Mission Becomes Ours- Luke 24 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

  15. 2) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Mission Becomes Ours- Luke 24 46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, & thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer & to rise from the dead the third day,

  16. 2) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Mission Becomes Ours- Luke 24 47 & that repentance & remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things.

  17. 2) LifeChange is Seen As God’s Mission Becomes Ours- Luke 24 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."

  18. When God molds our life, it is not only in our heart, but through our hands and feet as well. We are not only transformed in character, but in purpose;to embrace God’s mission of salvation for the lost, growth of His Kingdom & the building of His people.

  19. “Following Jesus means more than just calling ourselves Christians, it means just what it says-following Him as He does His work. If we aren’t actively working with Him, how can we fully call ourselves Christians?”

  20. Titus 2 13 looking for the blessed hope & glorious appearing of our great God & Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed & purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
