Biblical Truth • Wow! Some of those are quite interesting • I can see where folks could find some of them plausible. I don’t personally and I think the Bible’s account for creation is the real truth. Up Next: Genesis 1
Biblical Truth (Cont) • Genesis 1 records the creation account. • Light • Sky • Land, seas, and vegetation • Sun, moon, and stars • Birds and creatures of the sea • Wild beasts, livestock, reptiles, and humanity Up Next: John 1:1
John 1:1 • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. • This describes the preincarnate Christ (Jesus) and tells us that Jesus was there during the creation account and was a part of it. Up Next: Mark 10:6
Mark 10:6 • "But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.‘ • This is the natural order of things • In Genesis 1, God said be fruitful and multiply and to go and multiply and subdue the earth • God does not hate those who are not believers or find themselves in the midst of sin. John 3:16 & 17 is for all of humanity. However, Jesus repeatedly tells those who have or are sinning, to go and sin no more. Up Next: Psalm 139:13-14
