Was born in July 22, 1983 in North Dakota , known professionally as Toya, is an American R&B singer from St. Louis Missouri She is perhaps best known for her 2001 hit, "I Do!!", which reached No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. • One of three girls born to a Puerto Rican father and an African American mother, Rodriguez was named after LaToya Jackson. She graduated from Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School in St. Louis County, Missouri, and St. Louis University. • Toya is married to former University of Tennessee quarterback and current University of Kentucky assistant coach Tamaurice "Tee" Martin. The woman is finally happy that she forgot about him, but yet her feelings still stay and hunt her. The meaning of the song is to understand the pain a woman goes through when she tries to forget her love life, no matter how hard she tries to move on her love is like flames it never runs out because its so strong. She doesn't have a choice to stay with him because he has already hurt her so many times, so she lost her trust within their relationship now she is going through the pain not seeing him anymore. The purpose is to let those people who have gone through the same process of trying to forget someone they love, but yet still remain it teaches people a lesson to believe that if you really want to see them again then you should instead of being in pain and trying to deal with the mixed emotions everyday in your life.
