  2. News % Blogs • The news and blog section of zdnet is exactly what it sounds like. There is a combination of different news stories and blogs by people responding to them or presenting their own news. • Blogs are just open space for people to say what they want.

  4. Downloads • ZDNet's Software Directory is the Web's largest library of software downloads. Covering software for Windows, Mac, and Mobile systems, ZDNet's Software Directory is the best source for technical software. (Zdnet.com) • Basically this is a place where you can find a number of different downloads for any type of computer.

  5. Reviews • The Reviews section allows you to see what people have to say about different programs or even about different computers. This is a good place to look up what people have to say about a computer or program you are looking to buy.

  6. CIO Sessions • CIO Sessions allows you to See and hear what CIOs the world over think about the business of technology and how it's changing the way we live and work. Find out how the Air Force Reserve Command uses instant messaging to support ground forces in combat, how Web 2.0 applications are requiring a new set of IT skills and training for large enterprises, and how the SF Giants are using technology to help improve player development and scouting. Bookmark this page and check back often to find the answers to these and many more questions.(Zdnet.com)

  7. Podcasts • A podcast is a series of digital-media files, which are distributed over the Internet using syndicationfeeds for playback on portable media players and computers. The term podcast, like broadcast, can refer either to the series of content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also called podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster.(Wikipedia.com)

  8. Mobile • Remote, portable, on-the-go. The term "mobile" used by itself is wireless parlance for the client device, such as a cell phone, PDA or laptop.(Zdnet.com)

  9. Webcasts • A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology. As a broadcast may either be live or recorded, similarly, a webcast may either be distributed live or recorded. Essentially, webcasting is “broadcasting” over the Internet.(Wikipedia.com)

  10. Case Studies • Rather than using samples and following a rigid protocol to examine limited number of variables, case study methods involve an in-depth, longitudinal examination of a single instance or event: a case. They provide a systematic way of looking at events, collecting data, analyzing information, and reporting the results. As a result the researcher may gain a sharpened understanding of why the instance happened as it did, and what might become important to look at more extensively in future research. Case studies lend themselves to both generating and testing hypotheses[1].(wikipedia.com)
