  2. La Clef \ la klay \ is a ministry based in North America that uses the arts to minister to the French-speaking world. The Lord has brought two elements together to fashion a key to the French heart: • Acadians and Quebecois – descendants of France • Music and dance performed with true artistry

  3. La Clef is directed by Greg Hardee. • Louisiana Cajun • Was drawn to the spiritual neediness of the Canadian-French people. • Has been going to Montreal for about 10 years • Approach is to build relationships with a few people • Takes Canadians to France to minister

  4. France 2004 July 19 – August 2, 2004

  5. Twenty were in our group

  6. We gave six outdoor concerts

  7. Audiences averaged about 100 people.

  8. Our French heritage gives a starting point for sharing

  9. We performed jazz, cajun, classical, Canadian pop, gospel

  10. Contemporary ballet

  11. People responded to the joy they saw in us

  12. Announcing concerts in the villages

  13. The word was spread by posters and radio

  14. We played in an outdoor restaurant

  15. We stayed at the youth hostel in Carcassonne

  16. The church in Castelnaudary was our sponsor

  17. Sunday worship

  18. Roast lamb picnicwith the church members

  19. Making new friends

  20. We had fans, too!

  21. Building relationships

  22. Goal: To build up the new church in Trèbes

  23. It was a life-shaping experience

  24. Please pray with us about: • We want to establish a permanent organization and raise funds for ongoing ministry with regular outreach trips to Canada and France. • We still have unpaid expenses amounting to $18,500. www.laclef.org
