  6. PTSA Unit Meeting Minutes – 5.11.16 Meeting called to order by Rosy Chan, PTSA President at 5:17 pm. Pledge of Allegiance and Flag Salute was led by IsabelaDimalanta and Jayden Sorriano. Inspirational Message delivered by Hazel Dimalanta.

  7. President’s Report – Rosy Chan Welcomed everyone to the PTSA Unit Meeting. Thanked all volunteers who have helped with Book Fair and Family Night, it’s a successful event. Thanked ALL the Parents, Staff and Teachers for your continued support.

  8. Principal’s Report – Kevin Despard Welcomed and thanked everyone. Expressed gratitude to all volunteers and PTSA for their time and dedication. Spoke about our Gold Ribbon Celebration and what an honor it was to receive this award. So proud of our school and students.

  9. Unfinished Business Review and approval of Meeting Minutes from the February 17, 2016 PTSA Unit Meeting. Motion to approve the meeting minutes made by Katrina Enriquez; seconded by Eileen Aquino. Outcome: Motion carried.

  10. Treasurer's Report Peggy Saguchi presented the Treasurer’s Report . From July 1, 2015 to May 11, 2016 • Checking Balance: $63,177.99 • CD Funds (Marquee): $8,416.41 • *Several pending items not reflected in current checking balance (recent field trips, payment to Scholastic Books, etc.) Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report made by Katrina Enriquez; seconded by: Robin Paerels. Outcome: Motion carried.

  11. Audit Report Audit report covering the period from July 2015 to December 2015 was completed by the auditor, Shenny Reyes. Financial records were found to be accurate and correct. PTSA Executive Board approved the audit report at the last Executive Board Meeting on May 11, 2016. Motion to approve Audit Report made by Hazel Dimalanta, second by: Boris Duarte. Outcome: Motion carried
