  6. Tactile Panel • An interactive panel design to stimulate senses in an entertaining fashion. • Touch sensor activated • Colored LEDs • Vibrating motor for tactile feedback • Speakers

  8. “Disco ball/lamp” • A tube with colored filters and a central light source to project light and images. • Rotating central tube to create moving patterns. • Rotating hemisphere on top to project light onto the ceiling and upper walls. • Speakers in base to play soothing sounds via MP3 player.

Final Decision“Disco Ball”/Lamp • Cost is similar to other options • More durable • More feasible to build within our timeframe • Similar to existing Snoezelen rooms • Brings Snoezelen room to the client’s house • Stationary system would reduce danger • Minimal user input makes it simple to use
