Renovating the Home of the Founders Parkway One of Las Vegas' most loved spots is the Founders Parkway. It lies between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it's a quick drive to the famed Las Vegas Strip. It is home to stunning landscape, and not just the Strip. Beautiful landscaping can be found along the Parkway including an asphalted walkway that has wooden planks leading to Castle Rock. One of the most interesting aspects of the plan of the paving that is on the Founders Parkway is that of its style and appearance in comparison to other public works of a similar quality in Las Vegas. The entryway to the parkway is a stone bench which is located among two pillars of stone. However, unlike other Las Vegas parksways, the rectangular shape of this bench is more popular as opposed to the typical circular shape. Concrete was used along the perimeter to make a variety interesting designs. Concrete patios can be found in six different designs. Two of the concrete pavers featured in the design are concrete tabs. The concrete tabs feature similar designs to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete used to create the Castle Rock section is colored to blend in with the surrounding natural environment. In the same way it is subtle enough that the concrete doesn't overwhelm the natural beauty in the area. The remaining three concrete segments are composed of huge rocks. Each of these large rock shapes is colored to help them stand out against the concrete. To differentiate this section from the concrete that surrounds the parkway the concrete used is red. In all, the concrete design is made up of eleven distinct colors. The architects have created an Parkway which is totally different from all other development by using so many shades. The replacement of concrete ramps and concrete sidewalks at the ground with granite pavers was another significant improvement made in the construction of Castle Rock's section of Las Vegas Strip. Granite pavers have a unique color scheme that blends well with the surroundings. The granite pavers feature distinct color patterns that blends seamlessly with the surrounding. It also makes it easier for pedestrians to utilize and provides driveways with an even more comfortable feel in rain.
The Las Vegas Strip has a covered walkway that is another variation in design. The walkway covered is intended to protect residents from stepping on the exposed roots of the tree-lined beach. The design allows rainwater that has collected in the ground to drain into the sea, helping stop erosion. The use of concrete sealants is not necessary since the concrete walkway is already present in the ground. Instead the pavers are coated by a special, waterproof material which is heat and slip resistant. Castle Rock offers a great climate for living. The climate is semi-tropical , with mild winters and warm summers. It's a wonderful place to grow plants because the soil is sandy. There are a variety of plants, such as evergreens, shrubs and desert flowers. Additionally, the Southern exposure of the Strip means that the landscape is cooler than the rest of the city. The picnic area made of stone at East End of the Driveway offers residents a view of the Strip and an area for peace and relaxation. You can take a break from the bustle and noise of the floor and relax on the stone bench. It is both practical and visually appealing thanks to the stone used in its construction. You'll be amazed how the stones bring the outdoors to life when you stroll down to the deck's edge to eat lunch or just enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars of the Strip.
