  4. PAC Governing Board: • Chairperson • Vice-Chairperson • Treasurer • Secretary • Special Interest • committee

  5. How can YOU enrich your child’s day care/ school experience?

  6. How can you transform your ideas into actions that benefit your child?

  7. Individual •  • Applicable Special Interest Committee •  • Communicate With PAC Gov. Board •  • Family worker/ school/agency liaison

  8. Family worker will then Work together with pac and other interested parents to make it happen.

  9. Every parent/pac Meeting Will have: • Agenda Handouts • Sign-in attendance sheets • Minutes recorded by pac secretary

  10. First Meeting must include: • 51% of families at this school/site. • Orientation – • Elections for governing board • Presentation of election results • Governing board appointment of PAC officers

  11. Remember: 1) Getting involved Shows your child (of any age) s/he matters 2) Children benefit most when parents and schools work together.

  12. PAC What Is it? It is a way for your voice to be heard, your vote to count.
