  2. Some Statistics… • Moshers is a 3D dance / skill game, played from a 3rd person perspective · Genre: Mosh ‘Em Up · Platform: Nintendo Wii / Nintendo DS · Control: Wii Controller · Player: Single /Multiplayer · Target Market: Teenagers / General

  3. For those who don’t know… Moshing is a type of dance characterized by jumping around and pushing others to music, particularly loud punk rock, hardcore, alternative rock or heavy metal music.

  4. Overview • The main object of the game is to get to the front row of a gig before the final song ends, thus helping you become the ultimate mosher. • You can achieve this by:- -Competing in ‘Mosh Battles’ -Completing various mini games • This leads to:- -Progression through the level -Obtaining skill points

  5. Story / Plot • The main plot idea is that you are a mosher wanting to make a name for yourself. • You have to compete in the dance-offs to gain respect and all-important skill points.

  6. Characters • There is NO set character. • The character is designed using a character creator and is free to make their own story. • Here are some examples of characters that you could design in the editor..

  11. Game Modes There are 4 Main Game Modes: • Single Player Campaign Mode • Multi Player Battle Mode • Time Attack Mode • Level Creator Mode

  12. Game Modes • Single Player Campaign Mode -This is a single player mode where the player will have to race against time to reach the stage before the final song is played. -This mode also contains various mini games that allow the player to gain skill points

  13. Game Modes • Multiplayer Battle Mode -This is where 2-4 players battle against each other in a ‘mosh battle’. -It is playable online.

  14. Game Modes • Time Attack Mode -This is another single player mode in which the player must battle it out in a mosh-pit against numerous opponents. -The player can also unlock items of clothing in this mode with the skill points earnt.

  15. Game Modes • Level Creation Mode -This mode enables players to create a gig and import their own songs, allowing them to select battle spots and set the difficulty level for them.

  16. Game Mechanics Mosh Battles: • 3rd person • Aim to get to the front of the crowd • Challenge moshers for their place in the crowd • Battles based on a full-screen, omni-directional, point-punch-pad system. • “Punch” the pad as it lands on the green layer

  17. Game Mechanics Circle Pits: • Stay in the pit for as long as possible • Reverse Mosh Battle, push out crazy moshers before you fall • Speed increases over time

Gameplay Options Campaign overview: • 7 gigs – each gig consisting of 3-5 songs dependant on the difficulty level • 8th gig – Festival of 5-7 songs • Objective example: • 20,000 points, Two MySpace photo’s and one minute in the circle pit. Collect drum stick for bonus! • Travel around the world to different venues, gigs and festivals.

Gameplay Options Multiplayer: • Time attack and Point modes capable via internet connection or “pass the pad”. • Crowd Surfing – Try to balance on the crowd for as long as possible, using the Wii thumb-stick and controller combined. • Compete to get to the front of the stage, crowd-surf the longest or stay alive in the circle pit. • If all fails – spam their MySpace! \o/

  20. Gameplay Options Level Creation Mode • Create as many Mosh Pits / Circle Pits / Songs as you like and then try to master it • Created levels are playable online
