  3. Hvordan citerer man? Direkte Cormack (1994, pp.32-33) statesthat 'whenwriting for a professional readership, writersinvariablymake reference to alreadypublishedworks’. Ifølge Peter Madsen (1994) kan man betragte kommunikationsteori som et selvstændigt  videnskabeligt felt. Peter Madsen ytrer i sin afhandling om kommunikationsteori: " Kommunikation kan anses for at være et selvstændigt videnskabeligt felt” (Madsen 1994 s. 57).
