FORUM FOR OPPVEKST I SUNNHORDLAND • FOS is a regional projectorganizationcoveringschools, kindergardens, cultureschools, adult education and educational and psychologicalcounselling service • FOS offers services to more than 100 units in Bømlo, Etne, Fitjar, Kvinnherad, Stord and Sveio municipalities. • FOS offers continued training and refreshercourses for teachers, school leaders and others in the system.

FORUM FOR OPPVEKST I SUNNHORDLAND • Early Years Literacy Programs • Reading and writing strategies (PISA) • Assessment for learning (AFL) • External/regional evaluation in kindergartens • Implementing new framework plan in kindergarten • Further education:“ Improving use of special needs in Education” • Relation-based classroom teaching • Adapted Education/teaching

  6. FORUM FOR OPPVEKST I SUNNHORDLAND Cooperates with the County Governor of HordaIand Carries out a lot of tasks initiated by the County and State government Agreement with the Stord/Haugesund University College (refresher courses and further education)
