  2. Joomla • Joomla! Is a free and open source content management system (CMS) for publising content on the World Wide Web and intranets. It comprises a model-view-controller (MVC) Web application framework that can also be used independently. • Joomla! Is written in PHp, uses objectoriented programming (OOP) techniques and software design patterns, stores data in a MySQL database, and includes features such as page caching, RSS feeds, printable versions of pages, news flahses, blogs, polls, seach, and support for language internationalization.

  3. Wordpress • WordPress is an open source blog tool and publishing platform powered by PHP and MySQL. It’s often customized into a Content Management System (CMS). It has many features including a plug-in architecture and a template system. WordPress is used by over 13% of the 1,000,000 biggest websites.

  4. How Joomlawork’s • Joomla functions in just a few simple steps or you might call them pieces. • The HTML you see in the front end • The PHP that sends info to and from the HTML to the database • The database that stores your information • The CSS that styles everything • The misc.Javascript/Ajax/flash that adds functionality.

  5. How Wordpress work’s • You will need to setup and configure a MySQL database that will store all of your site’s content (i.e. your blog posts, pages, settings, and plugin configurations). This is because the core files that you download don’t actually store the contents of your site – they just make WordPress work and provide the functions necessary to access content from your database and display it appropriately. • The WordPress backend (often referred to as the Admin area/panel/dashboard) is the part of WordPress that only you have access to (and maybe your co-authors – if you have any).

  6. The best one to use & Sample Sites • I think the best one to use is Wordpress because of the organization. • http://www.joomla.org/ • http://wordpress.org/
