  3. Services Weekly servicing hours vary according to client needs. Basic Skills Training BST services are interventions designed to reduce cognitive and behavioral impairments and restore recipients to their highest level of functioning. BST services are provided to recipients with age and developmentally inappropriate cognitive and behavioral skills. BST services help recipients acquire (learn) constructive cognitive and behavioral skills through positive reinforcement, modeling, operant conditioning and other training techniques. BST services teach recipients a variety of life skills. BST services may include the following interventions: Basic Living and Self-care Skills Social Skills Communication Skills Parental Training Organization and Time Management Skills Transitional Living Skills Psychosocial Rehabilitation PSR services are interventions designed to reduce psycho-social functioning. PSR services may include any combination of the following interventions: Behavioral Management Social Competency Problem Identification and Resolution
