Some conclusions • What jobs are available is a consequence of the shape of labour market demand • Different population groups, like immigrants and newcomers, have different outcomes related to the shape of labour market demand • Those outcomes for newcomers are different outside the rest of Ontario compared to Toronto • Visible minority groups are distributed differently across different occupations
