  3. LATVIAN ACADEMY OF SPORT EDUCATION The Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE) is located in Riga, the capital of Latvia, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

LATVIAN ACADEMY OF SPORT EDUCATION • LASE - the main higher education institution in Latvia which offers education programs in many fields of sport. • LASE offers accredited education programs, trains certified specialists to work in institutions and organizations in the field of education and sport. LASE Diploma is recognized in the countries of Europe, SNG and the world.

  8. LATVIAN ACADEMY OF SPORT EDUCATION • LASE offers also study possibilities for those who do not want to excel so much in sport, but who prefer to facilitate people’s health as a physical education teacher, a recreation (active tourism) specialist, a sport manager or a physiotherapeut

  9. STUDY PROGRAMS First level professional program • First level professional program Education and Sport Specialist provides professional qualification: sport trainer • Studies last for 4 semesters (120 ECTS) • Tuition fee (per year): 1500 EUR (1950 USD)

STUDY PROGRAMS Professional Bachelorstudy program Sport Science Full time studies for 8 semesters, professional Bachelor degree in Sport Science (240 ECTS) and 2 of the following qualifications: • a sports (physical education) teacher and a sports manager; • a senior coach (trainer) and a sports manager; • a recreation (active tourism) specialist and a sports teacher; • a recreation specialist and a senior coach. Tuition fee (per year): 2000 EUR (2600 USD)

  11. STUDY PROGRAMS Professional Bachelorstudy program Physiotherapy Full time studies for 8 semesters, professional Bachelor degree in Health Care (240 ECTS) and the qualification: physiotherapeut with specialization in sport field. Tuition fee (per year): 3200 EUR (4320 USD)

STUDY PROGRAMS Professional Master study program Sport Science • Professional Master degree in Sport Science and education and sport specialty with the qualification: • a sports (physical education) teacher, • a senior coach, • a sports manager or • a recreation specialist. • Studies last for 3.5 semesters, 97.5 ECTS • Tuition fee (per year): 2000 EUR (2600 USD)

  13. STUDY PROGRAMS Professional Master study program in Health Care Studies last for 4 semesters. Tuition fee (per year): 3000 EUR (4050 USD) • Professional Master study program Health Care Specialist in Sports Field (Physiotherapy); • ProvidesMaster degree in Health Care and the qualification: Sport physiotherapeut or Specialist of adapted physical activities in recreation.

  19. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Good English proficiency, completed secondary education, university eligibility in home country, age 18 or older. An applicant should send the following documents by post: • Completed application form; • Curriculum Vitae - Resume (applying for Master’s or Doctoral study program: including scientific publications, participation in scientific conferences, in-service training and seminars); • Official copy of the certificate of secondary education and mark registerwith translation in English; • Official copy of the latest graduation certificate (applying for Master’s or Doctoral study program) with translation in English
