Study Committee Outcomes • Collect additional aid data (no legislation required) • Develop affordability model (in progress) • Discontinue funding for some loans: DENT, HCP, MED, PMGT, STSC, and SWOR (passed in appropriation bill) • Move application deadlines (Postsecondary Board did not approve due to funding shortfall) • Require FAFSA (legislation did not pass) • Expand HELP with scaled awards (legislation did not pass) • Budget deficit increasing (will need $4 million deficit)
