Louis Modugno is a former CPA who has practiced law in New Jersey for nearly thirty years. A 1995 graduate of Seton Hall Law School, Mr. Modugno clerked with Stephen A Stripp, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge. He was Senior Partner at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLC until 2021 when he became co-managing member of Tri & Modugno, LLC.

  2. Law Practice As a former CPA, Louis Modugno brings vast and varied experience to his law practice. He is a seasoned litigator with significant experience in transactional matters who provides both legal and transactional advice to the numerous charities he serves.

  3. Practices in New York Mr. Modugno was admitted to his home state’s Bar Association in 1996. He practices in New York and Pennsylvania as well, and in 2014 was appointed Commissioner to the New Jersey School Ethics Commission where he served until 2018.

  4. Family Man Louis Modugno is a family man who invests in his community while maintaining a thriving career as an attorney. He has been admitted to the State Bar Associations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York and he joined Trif & Modugno in February 2021 as a co-managing member.

  7. Career as a CPA Before practicing law, Louis Modugno began his career as a CPA. In 1995 he was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, and he has since expanded his practice to include litigation in both Pennsylvania and New York. He has made the Top 100 New Jersey Attorney list and received the Family Life Award from Assumption College for Sisters.
