Introduction: • A sediment record is a collection of periodic, daily, monthly, or annual sediment discharge, expressed as a mass (tons) per unit of time, computed (estimated) by utilizing sediment-sample concentration data obtained at a station (cross-section), water discharge, and sometimes surrogate data on a flowing stream.
