  7. Addition and Subtraction • Using your Addition and Subtraction books find an activity that you can use in your classroom • Using the equipment available prepare and share a teaching session with the group (groups of 3 or 4) • Identify knowledge needed and strategy being developed

Goals • Daily lesson format being practised • Modelling Book being used in strategy teaching • Strategy teaching for addition and subtraction started • Find a practise activity to share with colleagues Next visit • You take the knowledge warm-up, teach one addition and subtraction strategy group, and inform us of the operation (mult/div, fract/dec) and strategy stage you wish to see demonstrated.
