  2. Before the interview: Antes de la entrevista:

  3. Confirm your attendance. • Confirmá tu asistencia.

  4. Think about the questions you will ask, you may want to take a note to the interview. • Pensá que vas a preguntar, tal vez desees llevar un apunte a la entrevista.

  5. Practise, get a friend or colleague to help with a dummy interview. • Practicá, con la ayuda de un amigo o compañero que ayude con un simulacro de entrevista.

  6. Organise yourself-eg.Travel arrangements, take your application and CV with you. • Organizate: por ejemplo, preparativos del viaje, llevá la solicitud y el CV.

  7. Think about what you are going to wear. • Pensá sobre que ropa vas a vestir.

  8. Have an early night. • Es mejor ir a dormir temprano.

  9. Immediately before. • Inmediatamente antes de la entrevista.

  10. Don´t eat strong food or smoke. • No comas comidas fuertes ni fumes.

  11. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the interview time so that you can prepare yourself, relax as much as possible. • Debes llegar al menos 15 minutos antes de la entrevista, para que puedas prepararte y estar lo más tranquilo posible.

  12. Check your clothing and appearance in a mirror. Observa tu indumentaria y apariencia en un espejo.

  13. Remember, first impressions count-that includes while you are waiting. • Recordá que las primeras impresiones son importantes, incluso mientras estés esperando.

  14. At the interview: • Durante la entrevista:

  15. If offered a handshake at the beginning of the interview,make sure you avoid a limp handshake or vice like grip and that your hands are dry. • Si te dan la mano al comienzo de la entrevista, evitá que el apretón sea muy débil o demasiado fuerte y tus manos deben estar secas.

  16. Be yourself, act naturally and relaxed. • Se vos mismo, actuá con calma y naturalidad.

  17. Don´t be afraid to collect your thoughts before you answer a question. • Date tiempo para pensar antes de responder una pregunta.

  18. Ask questions-remember it´s a two way conversation. Hacé preguntas, no olvides que es una conversación de ida y vuelta.

  19. Have a good eye contact with the interviewer. • Es mejor tener un buen contacto visual con el entrevistador.

  20. Be positive-never put yourself down (even if you are asked for a weakness) as this could suggest a lack of confidence. • Se positivo, nunca te quites méritos (por más que te pregunten sobre algún punto débil) ya que esto podría sugerir falta de confianza.

  21. Avoid humor – it could go badly wrong. • Evitá el humorismo porque podria irte muy mal.

  22. Make the most of an interview: • Aprovechá la entrevista al máximo:

  23. Think about your achiavements. What did you achieve, what happened as a result of your actions, what were your successes?. • Pensá en tus logros. ¿Qué lograste, que sucedió como resultado de tus acciones, cuales fueron tus éxitos?

  24. What have you done to make yourself proud? • ¿Qué has hecho para sentirte orgulloso?
