Reading Batch Numbers
  • Basically all batch numbers contain the same information: The year the entry was added to the record, the Julian date, and the coder ID number.
  • For example: “93242126” means that the entry was added in 1993 on the 242nd day of the year by coder 126.

  • Not all batch numbers look the same, but they break down basically the same way.
    • For example: “4096LA” means the entry was added in 1994 on the 96th day of the year by coder LA.
    • “99160B50” means the entry was added in 1999 on the 160th day of the year by office B50.
