  3. Application Objectives • Respond by repenting of other “loves” that have taken priority over wholehearted love for God. • Respond by seeking ways to demonstrate extravagant love to God. • Respond by asking God to make you a God-loving example.

  5. How to Make a Difference You have to be different to make a difference. You cannot change anything by adding more of the same.

  7. Loving God with All Your Heart • No one is ever apathetic! Every man is passionate about something. • A God-exhilarated lover is extravagant.

  8. Extravagant Lovers • Mary’s extravagant gift • Mary’s extravagant attention • David’s extravagant praise • Paul’s extravagant service • The extravagance of our God

  9. A Penetrating Question • Who would want to be like us? • If we are not known to be God-loving believers by our obvious extravagance for the Lover of our soul, why should those who follow us bother with Him either?

  10. Conclusion • Those who have great impact for God are those who have great passion for Him fueled by meditation upon His Word. • All of us are masters at meditation. • The next generation must be tempted with God.
