Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) – 3 • Binding on the Member States, not directly on individuals • Member States may prescribe the use of…(Art 2).…. but if they do, the regulation must be consistent with the directive so that there are no legislative barriers to trade (Art 3) • Regulates up to the stage of placing on the market and putting into use. • In service verification not specifically covered by the MID European Forum Gas 2005 - Block 3 "Current aspects of gas metering" - Jos Dehaeseleer
