  3. Elizabeth: Unfulfilled Longing Psalm 27:13–14 I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord.

  4. Mary: Overwhelming Responsibility Rules of the house: • Your mother is always right • If your mother is wrong, refer back to rule #1

  5. Mary: Overwhelming Responsibility C. Everett Koop Life affords no greater responsibility, no greater privilege, than the raising of the next generation.

  6. Mary: Overwhelming Responsibility Relax!! It's not your job to create a perfect child or be a perfect parent. Neither is possible, no matter what your friends try and make you believe about their kids! Parenting is rooted in God's grace, not my perfection.

  7. Mary: Overwhelming Responsibility Isaiah 49:15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.”

  8. Anna: Loss and Loneliness Psalm 56:8 You have taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle. are they not in Your book?
