Introduction • Microsoft Innovation Centers ( MICs ) are state of art technology facilities for collaboration on innovative research, technology or software solutions, involving a combination of government, academic and industry participants. • There are now more than 100 Microsoft Innovation Centers worldwide.

What’s in for you ? • Up to 250 students for internship and 100 students for employment eligible to apply (for Platinum level) • Students need to have eligible Microsoft certifications to get access to the web portal • Final decision to hire will be on the sole discretion of the employer organization

What’s in for you ? • On-campus state-of-the-art Microsoft Innovation Centre • Academic Alliance recognition - distinguishing the special technology related tools, resources and infrastructure investments made by the institution • On-campus hands on Microsoft 'technology foundation' workshops • Invitation to annual faculty summer camps at Microsoft

  5. Criteria & Benefits

  6. Ed-Vantage Program is divided into 4 levels of participation: Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum with the relevant benefits and criteria for each. • Our institution is at Platinum level

  7. Industry connection is a Microsoft facilitated access to a web portal enabling eligible students to explore internships and/or employment opportunities.

Pre-requisites for internships and employment • Students must meet the criteria of genuine windows OS and relevant Microsoft certifications prior to availing the internship/employment benefits. • Students will be eligible to apply for internships and employment opportunities on the basis of their interests and availability. Only if they have relevant certifications.

  11. Other Benefits • The Microsoft Leadership Visit involves a visit from a leadership team member at Microsoft, to the campus. The campus and students get an amazing opportunity to interact with the leadership team member and get an insight on the current and future industry requirements. • The faculty training program is an annual summit organized by Microsoft research where faculties from eminent campuses come together and meet highly talented professionals and experts from their fields. 

  12. Ideation Fest • Bi-annual event organized to identify creative talent among students • Students have to present creative ideas in a theoretical framework • Selected ideas will be implemented in MIC • Participation in national / international Microsoft events

  13. Role of Volunteers • Promote the program • Coordinate with your faculty in charge • Communicate messages to students • Support during MTA exams, Ideation fest • Certificate for volunteering
