Any text typed into the “Notes” section will be read out loud. This allows you to have just a picture on the “book” and have something read, or you can copy the text from the slide to the “notes” section. The “Speaker” button will read the text in the notes section for the current slide. The “Next” button moves to the next slide. The “Previous” button moves to the previous slide, and the “Stop” button exits the presentation. Kiosk mode is selected for the presentation. You will need to deselect Kiosk mode if you want to use other navigation techniques. To make more pages, select one of the “content” pages and do Ctrl-D or EDIT>Duplicate to make a new slide with all the buttons. The voice used to read the text will be the default voice on your computer. Use the speech control panel to change the default voice. You can go to the Master Slide to delete the background book image if desired. Credits: VBA Code: Brian Groth; Book Image: Clipart.com; PowerPoint: David Davis http://www.fdlrstech.com Instructions
