Jean Monnet SeminarReflecting on the Future of Europe in the 202-2030 Time Horizon – Inputs from Macau • Context: • Independent Reflection Groupon the Future of Europe in the 202-2030 Time Horizon. • Reflection Group chaired by Mr. Felipe Gonzalez • established by the European Council to assist the EU in effectively anticipating and meeting challenges in the time horizon of 2020 to 2030 • started the work - December 2008 • shall present report to European Council by June 2010.

Jean Monnet SeminarReflecting on the Future of Europe in the 202-2030 Time Horizon – Inputs from Macau • Idea behind the initiative: • contributions / inputs from Macau • specific recommendations or proposals • Short, brisk. • These recommendations can address various levels of governance (local, state and EU level). • They can be framed in general strategic terms or as specific policy recommendations including time frames and the actors who would implement them.
