Introduction • Current OFDMA tone plan has the center 26-tone RU that is located in the middle of 80MHz BW or middle of each 80MHz in 160MHz BW, originated for the purpose of utilizing more tones in wide BWs • Here the term “center 26-tone RU” is differentiated from the middle 26-tone RU within a 20MHz • In [1], we’ve defined how to assign RUs to STAs in the common SIGB field and how to position the related user-specific SIGB fields, but how to deal with the center 26-tone RU is not defined yet • In this contribution, we propose the way to position the user-specific SIGB field for the center 26-tone RU Jinsoo Choi, LG Electronics

Discussion • Because current user-specific fields are conveyed in sequence based on the RU position in the RU signaling table, it is better to put the user-specific field of the center 26-tone RU without mixing with those RUs’ fields • Easier to handle it by tearing apart from other RUs • The flexible location of the user-specific field into two SIGB content channels for this unit is not so required in terms of overhead because there is only one field per 80MHz (i.e. one center 26-tone RU per 80MHz) • SIGB with higher MCS even further reduce the necessity Jinsoo Choi, LG Electronics

Proposal • We propose that the user-specific field for the center 26-tone RU in BW>=80MHz is located at the end of the user specific fields in either SIGB content channel 1 or SIGB content channel 2, if assigned • SIGB content channel 1 in 80MHz BW • SIGB content channel 1 for lower 80MHz and SIGB content channel 2 for upper 80MHz in 160MHz BW Jinsoo Choi, LG Electronics
