HOME04 aims to improve the living conditions of homeless individuals through integrated development policies with a local focus, promoting their active participation. The project uses ICT as a tool to increase opportunities, develop services, and strengthen the presence and visibility of the homeless.

  2. HOME04 HOME04 subproject, has been approved in the framework of PEOPLE project sub-objective 4: “Social and e-inclusion”. HOME 04 is co-financed by Interreg IVC Programme).

BACKGROUND HOME04 Homeless are one of the main problems identified by the European strategy for social inclusion The implementation of HOME 04 pretends to analyze and plan the care to homeless, through integrated development policies with a local focus, promoting active participation of homeless in the development of solutions The use of ICT as a tool, will play a fundamental role in the improvement of living conditions of homeless. ICT has become a crucial element for people feeling themselves as part of a globalized society. In addition, internet is an excellent opportunity to reinforce presence and visibility of homeless and to allow more information around the activities for them.

  4. Objectives HOME04 Increasing opportunities with regards to ICT use. Implementation of integral service provision. Contributing to the development of policies to increase local public authorities’ capacity for assistance and prevention. Measuring impact of gender perspective in homeless at local, regional and European level. Developing products and tools for the contribution to the improvement of services for homeless.
