Was sent to jail by Abigail and wanted Proctor to admit to witchcraft in order to stay alive. • Abigail Williams- The leader of the young girls who initially practiced witchcraft and began accusations around town. Had affair with John Proctor. • Mary Warren- Housekeeper at the Proctor house. Weak link of the group who caves into peer pressure.
