  2. What is it about? • Technology audit is usually defined as a systematic examination of the core technology of the company and its capabilities to innovate and cooperate in international way.

  3. What is the goal of the TA? • to identify the needs of companies in area of technology and innovation and their potential to export know-how, products or technologies abroad.

  4. What is the goal of the BR? • identification of possible commercial offer or request in the trans-national context. • BR is usually performed together with TA

  5. Procedure • Preparatory phase • Initial analysis (face to face) • Company visit (client permises) • Technology audit/Business review (Production manager/Director) • Results

  6. Preparatory phase • Audit manual (methodology) • Audit forms • Desk research • Search for companies (sector, location, interest,...)

  7. Initial analysis • Basic information about potentially audited company • Identification of potential • Audit decision • Filling form for IA

  8. Company visit • Visit at company premises • Visual check of production and production equipment • Identification of cooperation potential • Final decision for audit • Filling form for CV

  9. Auditing process • Direct visit at company premises • Introduction of EEN services • Introduction of hosting company • Discussion with responsible person/s • Writing comments (paper/notebook) • Completing TA/BR form according to comments obtained during visit

  10. What is the result? • Tailored EEN service provided to client • Elaboration of technology or partnership profile • Increase of client's business potential
