Objectives:Treatment • August 2004: development of the National Treatment Protocol. • Collaborators: pediatric oncologists, ophthalmologists, radiotherapists and pathologists. • RtbMex III Annual Meeting, October 2005, Guadalajara Mex. • Government program: Popular insurance (Seguro Popular). • Follow up and inclusion of new centers.

  5. Recommendation • Greater understanding of factors that influence delays and the individual impact of patient and provider delays on disease severity and prognosis would be useful to form effective policies and programs aimed at ensuring timely access to healthcare for children with cancer Dang-Tan et al – Pediatr Blood Cancer 2008,51:468-74
