  3. The Student Council • In the storied tradition of MUS, the Student Council has maintained a position of prominence and respect within the student body and the faculty • The Council is expected to lead the student body in virtual all of its non-academic activities • The positions within the Council have very specific duties and unless these are carried out, the school year becomes less than it should be

Duties of the Student Council Officers • The duties of the Student Council Officers and representatives are specified within the Constitution • The Constitution is as follows: CONSTITUTION of the Student Council • If you are considering running for an office, you should spend time studying the requirements of the position and be willing to carry them out • Build your campaign on the requirements of the position

  5. The Honor Council • The very fabric of what makes MUS unique resides in the Honor Council • Leadership within the Honor Council may be viewed as more by action and example than by words or speeches • Honor Council representatives typically progress from the Lower School to the Upper School without much change, but the Constitution provides for outsiders to be nominated during their Junior year. • The Constitution is found in the U Book

The Civic Service Organization • “A student's responsibility to society is a priority at MUS”. • “We expect our boys to give something back to their school and to the community that nurtures and supports them”.
