FIPG Risk Management Guidelines
  • Must follow policies if:
    • Event is on Chapter property
    • Hosted by a member of the Chapter
    • Half or more in attendance are members of the Chapter (school policies are different for this )
    • The event discussed at a Chapter meeting, and there alcohol present.
    • Closed functions ONLY.
    • Alcohol is not sold or given away

  • Chapter funds are not used to purchase alcohol
  • Check and mark people who are 21
  • Appoint sober brothers to monitor the party
  • No glass bottles or containers are allowed
  • You MUST provide non-alcoholic beverages
  • Check AXP website for FIPG manual or go to www.FIPG.org
  • Training for Intervention ProcedureS
  • Understand your whereabouts and know how to react to different situations
  • Know the behavioral cues
    • Inhibitions, Judgment, Reactions, and Coordination
