Organic SEO and Local Seo Maps

There have been some changes and not good ones on Google in the past 2 months, these new or updated algorithms are shaking things up a bit. I have noticed that clients have completely disappeared for their positions on local searches. Where these companies were ranking on the first page they now show up nowhere.

Organic SEO and Local Seo Maps Local SEO Organic and Maps There have been some changes and not good ones on Google in the past 2 months, these new or updated algorithms are shaking things up a bit. I have noticed that clients have completely disappeared for their positions on local searches. Where these companies were ranking on the first page they now show up nowhere. From the 10 pack to the 7 pack and now in some places the 3pack visibility on Google maps is running out. Googles updated Penquin or the new Pigeon update has really caused some strange things in the local maps. I did a search under bat removal Irvine 92618 that was the zip code I was expecting to find some of the types of businesses in that field, and let me point out that last month there was my client along with 100 more of these businesses, I encountered restaurants, department stores (Macy’s) Walmart , 3 pest control companies, an MD and an apartment complex. I do not know why they were there but they have nothing to do with the search I was looking for.. Even the rep for Google that I was online with could not believe what she was seeing. It use to be good content, reviews, Pictures, and videos that helped with the rankings in the local maps. Organic SEO on Google focuses on link building, content writing, Blogs, on page optimization, map rankings. I have found that in your local maps social media is now a tool that needs to be utilized Foursquare, Facebook, Google plus etc.

  2. Link building through local directories, local blogs is having a Google plus page as well as a Google business page.
